Privacy notice
This notice explains how Airsoft Grid handles personal information when you browse public pages, create an account, join a workspace, book a game, place a shop order or use community features. Read it alongside the Terms of use and any operator or supplier notice shown when information is collected.
1. Who this covers
Airsoft Grid is the platform operator for the services described on this site. A venue, event operator, sponsor, supplier, photographer or gun technician may separately control information collected for their own service; their notice applies to that processing.
2. Information we collect
Depending on your use, we may collect your name, email, login and security details, profile photo and banner, callsign, location, social links, memberships, applications, messages, enquiries, posts, video links, bookings, ticket and waiver selections, attendance, shop orders, delivery details, payment references, preferences, device information, IP address, security logs and usage information.
3. Sensitive information
An operator may ask for accessibility, medical or emergency information needed to run an event safely. Provide only what is necessary. It is restricted to people with a legitimate operational need and is not public by default.
4. How we use information
We use information to secure accounts; publish profiles you choose to make public; operate teams and workspaces; process bookings, waivers, payments and shop orders; send confirmations and notifications; route applications and enquiries; provide time-limited audited support; prevent fraud and abuse; improve reliability and accessibility; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
5. Visibility and sharing
Public profiles, team pages, venue pages, sponsorship pages, player posts and media appear according to your visibility and publication choices. Operators receive information needed to run events. Team, sponsor and workspace members receive information needed for that relationship. Private booking, payment, medical and support information is not public merely because you have a profile.
6. Providers and international transfers
We use providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email, analytics, payments, maps, media embeds, delivery and support. They process information under appropriate agreements where applicable. Some providers may process information outside the UK; we use appropriate legal transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
7. Cookies
Essential cookies and local storage support sign-in, security, preferences and checkout. Optional analytics or embedded media may use additional technologies where enabled. Browser controls can limit cookies, but some features may stop working. See the Cookies page for more detail.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as needed for account operation, bookings, payment records, safety, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. When an account is closed, public content is removed or anonymised where practical; records that must be retained are restricted. Backups may take time to expire.
9. Your rights
Subject to legal exceptions, you can ask for access, correction, portability, restriction, objection or deletion. You can change profile visibility and notification choices in the platform. We may verify your identity before completing a request. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the regulator in your country.
10. Security, children and changes
We use access controls, authentication, logging and reasonable safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure. Administrator support access is reason-bound and audited; never send passwords or full card details through support. The platform is not designed to collect children’s information without appropriate authority. We may update this notice and will highlight material changes where practical.
